The Centurion for September 1979 is Vol 1, No 1. Page 4 contains a history of The 3905 Century Club from our roots in the earlier "Bi-Centennial Worked All States Net" to our founding as The 3905 Century Club in February 1977, rapid growth leading to incorporation on September 4, 1978, introduction of our free QSL bureaus, Area Award Managers, and our first election of officers on Jan 28, 1979. May 1979 saw us with approximately 714 members holding 100-Point Certificates and an estimated 1,500 amateurs, domestic and DX, having participated in our nets.
