How to Submit Your News Items

You are invited to submit a brief writeup covering a significant event (Club or personal) that you wish to see posted here.

Please mention specifically that you want it posted to the "Recent News" page.

Some examples of Club or personal events might be marriage announcements, birth announcements, graduations, child made a good grade on a test or even drew a nice picture that deserves a place "on the refrigerator" (here), license upgrades, planned mobile expeditions, and other club or member-related news items that other members might find interesting or that you just want to share.

Please provide starting and ending dates (UTC) where applicable and try to give a week's advance notice in the case of upcoming events.

A few pictures or images with the announcement are welcome and more can be added to a separate "wrap-up" page after an event of lasting interest.

Other than official Club news, I (your Webmaster) will probably rely on you sending me this information directly rather than me scouring the reflectors (etc) to find it.  Please keep that in mind before feeling slighted because your personal item isn't featured here.

Items may be subject to minor editing.  Typical listing time for items that don't have an obvious expiration date is about one month.
